What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard introduced by Anthropic that defines how AI systems connect securely and consistently to external tools and data sources.
In simple terms, MCP serves as a bridge between your AI assistant and external platforms such as Luciq.
With MCP, your IDE can directly query Luciq for:
Crash reports
Application lists
Stack traces
Performance and usage insights
Luciq extends this concept specifically for mobile observability, enabling AI-native debugging and release analysis workflows.
Why Luciq MCP?
Production data. In your IDE. Instantly.
The Luciq MCP Server (Model Context Protocol Server) connects your AI-powered development tools directly to Luciq’s mobile observability platform.
It enables seamless integration between Luciq and MCP-compatible IDEs and AI assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, and other MCP-compatible clients.
This allows AI assistants to securely access and interact with your app’s crash data, analytics, and debugging insights directly from your workspace. Instead of switching between dashboards and logs, you can simply ask questions in natural language and get answers directly in your IDE.
What can I do with Luciq MCP?
Luciq provides 10 tools across 5 mobile observability domains:
Crashes
Occurrences
App hangs
Bug reports
App Store reviews
All accessible through natural language prompts, including:
“Show me the top crashes in production this week.”
“Get details for crash #42 — what’s the stack trace?”
“Are there app hangs on Samsung devices?”
“Show me 1-star reviews for the latest release.”
Where can I use it?
Luciq MCP works with your IDE and AI tools, including:
